It Became Known New Details of Drones Strike at russian Millerovo Military Air Base

According to the new Radio Svoboda satellite images of Russia’s Millerovo military air base show a fuel and lubricant supply base and a technical hangar for aircraft were damaged by drones.

Local residents counted about 16 explosions that caused a large-scale fire. However, only now has there been an opportunity to analyze the damage caused, due to the images published on June 11 and July 21.

The first photo shows the airfield’s maintenance area with hangars for aircraft maintenance. The strike destroyed one of them.

A Su-30 fighter aircraft located next to the hangar was moved to another location after the strike. Judging by the condition of the parking lot, the fighter aircraft was not directly hit and did not sustain critical damage.

The attack drones also hit a fuel and lubricant depot at the military air base, causing it to partially burn down. A large-scale fire at this particular facility was captured on video by local residents.

The Millerovo military air base is the permanent base of the Russian 31st Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment, which is part of the 1st Guards Composite Aviation Division of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
