On the night of Friday, March 7, the Russian occupation forces carried out another massive terrorist missile attack on Ukraine – as reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a total of 67 missiles were detected during the attack (more than half of them are Kh-101/Kh-5SM, as well as Kalibrs, ballistic Iskander-M/KN-23, anti-aircraft S-300 and Kh-59/69 air missiles), as well as 194 units of attack drones and simulated drones.
At the same time, the Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that, among all things, French Mirage 2000-5 aircraft of the Mirage 2000-5 type also took part in repelling the enemy missile and drone attack, and this is the first time since the planes were delivered to Ukraine.
And later, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published really historic photos from our pilot, which recorded how French Mirage 2000-5 fighters shoot down one of the Russian cruise missiles of the Kh-101 type, attention is drawn to the fact that the launch of the air-to-air missile was actually carried out at an angle of 90 degrees.

And if we talk about air-to-air missiles, with which our pilots from Mirage could shoot down the Russian Kh-101, then there are options such as MICA with a range of 80 km, Super 530D, which can destroy targets at a distance of up to 40 km, as well as the R550 Magic 2 with a range of up to 20 km.
The most common and versatile of these is MICA, which can be launched from all suspension points (except the central one), while there are limitations on the other two.
