russian Forces Deploy Chemical Munitions Five Times, Lose Buk-M2 on Tavriya Front

The enemy continues to violate the rules of warfare by using chemical munitions. Five such attacks were documented yesterday, likely involving K-51 grenades with chlorpicrin.

Colonel Oleksandr Stupun, spokesman for the Joint Press Center of the Tavria Defense Forces, said this on the air of the telethon.

According to him, each case of chemical weapons use is studied individually, and then all the information is provided to international institutions.

Stupun added that Ukrainian defenders are protected from chloropicrin by gas masks.

In addition, as reported by the Commander of the OSGT Tavria, General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, in his Telegram channel, after three days of calm, in the last 24 hours, the enemy conducted 37 airstrikes. Almost all of them were in the Donetsk region.

“Also last night, russian terrorists fired S-300 missiles at Myrnohrad and Lysivka in the Pokrovsk district,” the statement reads.

According to Tarnavskyi, active offensive and assault operations continue – yesterday there were 36. And about twenty today. The enemy made 1073 artillery attacks yesterday.

The total losses of the enemy amounted to 371 personnel and 40 pieces of military equipment.

Ukrainian defenders destroyed the russian Buk-M2 anti-aircraft missile system. They neutralized or destroyed 235 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of various types.

In addition, 5 tanks, 13 APCs, 10 artillery systems, 2 anti-aircraft missile systems, 8 vehicles, and one unit of special equipment were destroyed.
