Ukrainian forces operating under the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine have released striking footage of a recent operation in the Kupiansk direction, showcasing the effectiveness of modern drone warfare. The Paragon UAV unit, part of Timur special unit, conducted a series of high-impact strikes along the right bank of the Oskil River.
The operation combined tactical finesse with technological superiority, as special forces used remotely deployed mines to seal off access routes to Ukrainian positions. This preemptive move turned an attempted russian advance into confusion and chaos, resulting in significant enemy losses.
In a second phase of the mission, FPV drones were used with pinpoint accuracy to obliterate dozens of russian defensive positions. These strikes were not only visually dramatic but tactically decisive, halting enemy movement and exposing vulnerabilities in their defense line.
The unit also managed to destroy russian tank, further weakening the enemy’s ability to conduct offensive operations in the area. The effectiveness of these actions highlights Ukraine’s ability to blend agility, planning, and technology in high-stakes combat scenarios.
According to the report, more than 20 russian soldiers were eliminated, with some described as being launched “almost into the stratosphere” by drone strikes.
