Operators of the Special Operations Forces, working alongside artillery from a friendly unit, successfully eliminated newly produced russian 2S43 Malva self-propelled howitzer. This artillery system only entered production in 2023, making its destruction a significant loss for the occupiers.

The operation was captured on video and shared by the SOF Command. During aerial reconnaissance, Ukrainian fighters located the Malva howitzer at a hidden parking site. Wasting no time, they relayed its coordinates to Ukrainian artillery, which delivered a precise strike.

The impact not only destroyed the howitzer but also caused the detonation of its ammunition, damaging a nearby ATV used for maintenance.

“They barely got it off the production line, and it’s already scrap metal,” Ukrainian fighters remarked, mocking the rapid fate of russia’s so-called advanced weaponry.

This successful strike underscores Ukraine’s ability to neutralize russia’s latest military assets, highlighting the effectiveness of Ukrainian reconnaissance and fire coordination.
