International Experts Assessed the Effectiveness of the Magura V5 Drone, Half a Billion Damage Inflicted to the russian Black Sea Fleet
Research published in the Polish journal Political Science and Security Studies Journal has recognized Ukrainian Magura V5 maritime strike drone as the most effective during the war.
The Magura V5 drones have inflicted fire damage on 14 russian ships, with 8 of them being completely destroyed. Notable targets include the Ivan Khurs reconnaissance ship, the Sergey Kotov patrol ship, the Akula and Serna landing ships, the Ivanovets missile ship, the Caesar Kunikov large landing ship, and various types of russian high-speed patrol and landing boats.
The damage caused by the operators of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine using the Magura V5 drones is estimated to exceed half a billion dollars.
In addition to evaluating the effectiveness of the Magura V5 drone compared to other similar weapons, Polish researchers also assessed the impact of maritime strike drones on the security situation in the Black Sea.
