Today, orcs launched a missile attack on Odesa International Airport. Fortunately, there were no casualties as a result of this strike, but the airport runway was completely disabled and unsuitable for further use.
The main feature of this event was noted in his address by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Maksym Marchenko, – the Russians used the Bastion anti-ship coastal missile system, located in the occupied Crimea, to strike at the Odesa airport.
The Bastion complex is equipped with the P-800 Onyx supersonic anti-ship missile, which the ruscists themselves nicknamed the “aircraft carrier killer”. Because this missile was developed in Soviet times precisely for strikes against aircraft carrier strike groups of the “probable enemy”.
Today’s episode is only the second known case of the Rashists using the Bastion complex on our land during the entire war. The first case was on March 19, the orcs fired four missiles that did not seem to hit the target.

What was the “technological” logic of firing an anti-ship missile at a ground object at a ground target is not entirely clear. There, the mass of the warhead is less (300 kg) than the example of the Iskander ballistic missile (about 500 kg). It is also unknown how the anti-ship missile navigation system works when performing strikes on ground targets. It is significant that the orcs tried to hit objects located near the coastline with a P-800 missile.
Nevertheless, the orcs showed that firing anti-ship missiles at ground targets without finalizing the “product” is a bad idea, only ammunition is wasted.
