Kubrakov states that Ukraine aims to remove Russian, not Polish, agricultural products from the EU market in a Video (1:59:10)
This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction – Minister for Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Alexander Kubrakov in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, War Ukraine-Russia News Hub reports.
According to him, Polish society has become a victim of propaganda, fueled, among other things, by individual Polish politicians who tell their citizens lies about Ukrainian agricultural products and carriers.
“They (individual politicians – ed.) play on this topic. And, unfortunately, they received support from part of Polish society. This is how propaganda works. People do not understand or do not know the details, and believe that we have simply already destroyed their farmers, that our agricultural products have flooded all their markets, and now there is no place for them. This is not true,” Kubrakov noted.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, Poles import agricultural products from the Russian Federation without queues through the territory of Belarus, as evidenced by official statistics. While the transit of Ukrainian exports through Poland has decreased threefold compared to 2022.
The minister stressed that the governments of Ukraine and Poland are not negotiating to close the border, because it is “suicide.”
“We are talking about opening new additional checkpoints and unblocking existing ones,” Kubrakov added.
