War Ukraine-Russia News Hub reports this with reference to the press service of the State Border Guard Service.
The swimmer, who had covered the distance to the shore of a neighboring state, was discovered by a border guard using a quadcopter. To prevent a crime and accident, border guards deployed a boat and pulled the man out of the water.
As it turned out, the man used the services of one of the messengers, from which he remotely received instructions on where and how to follow. The coordinators suggested that he use an air mattress and put a change of clothes, documents and phone in a backpack. This service would have cost him 4 thousand euros, of which he had already paid half in advance.
For an attempt to illegally cross the border, a protocol on an administrative offense was drawn up under Part 1 of Art. 204-1 KUoAP “Illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine.” The case has been sent to court.
