Zelensky addresses recent Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities and expresses gratitude to rescuers in video statement.
As War Ukraine-Russia News Hub reports, the video was published in the telegram channel of the President of Ukraine.
“Now I would like to once again thank everyone who is participating in rescue operations, working to clear the rubble, helping and supporting people who have lost relatives. It is very important that after the Russian strikes our people are not left alone with pain and problems.
And it is the responsibility of local authorities, all state and utility services, and if necessary, then also the central authorities, in particular the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, to respond and regulate all situations so that people really feel that Ukraine is always helping. And no matter what happens, there will be support in every corner of our state. Exactly the way it needs to be done.
I would especially like to mention the workers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Sumy region. Sergeants Oleg Sakhnenko and Ivan Vorozhko, Master Sergeant Vladimir Ponomarenko, Captain Alexander Moiseenko and Colonel Vladimir Prokopchuk. I would also like to note the staff of the State Emergency Service in the Dnieper region, in particular those who work in Krivoy Rog, helping to preserve the normal lives of people. Sergeant Maxim Zhelezny, Master Sergeant Alexander Makhno, Senior Lieutenant Ilya Mustyatsa, Captain Vladimir Gavrilyuk and employees of the State Mountain Rescue Squad of the State Emergency Service Pavel Doroshenko and Evgeniy Konovalov. I thank you and all your colleagues!” Zelensky said.
