“I returned from Donbass, where I visited our soldiers and gave them the most necessary things they ask for. I visited four units. I brought 50 FPV drones as charity to the 5th Kiev separate assault brigade. 100 of them to the 47th separate mechanized brigade drones. The armored vehicle “Cobra” is now available to the fighters of the 112th Terrestrial Defense Brigade in Kiev,” said Vitaliy Klitschko.
Klitschko also visited the fighters of the special forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region “Kraken”, including the “Gyurza” group.
“I talked with the guys who are recovering from injuries and preparing to carry out combat missions. I handed over the electronic warfare system to them,” noted the mayor of Kyiv.
He also said that a new batch of aid is already being prepared. Soon she will also go to the defenders on the front line.
Earlier it was reported that Vitaliy Klitschko took 200 FPV drones, DJI MAVIC 3 quadcopters, 7 electronic warfare systems and a Cobra armored vehicle to the front line for the defenders of Donbass. This assistance was received by the 28th separate mechanized brigade, the Svoboda battalion, the 5th Kiev separate assault brigade and the 127th battalion of the 112th TRO brigade of Kyiv.
It was also reported that Klitschko donated almost half a thousand drones, purchased with funds from the capital’s budget, to the 112th separate brigade of the Kyiv Troops Operations.
According to KIU data, Kyiv tops the ranking of regional centers in terms of the amount of assistance to the defense forces. Last year, the capital allocated about 9 billion hryvnia from its budget to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is almost the same as all other regional centers combined.
