While conducting reconnaissance in the Southern direction, the BpAK crew of the 73rd Maritime Center of the SSO discovered a Solntsepok heavy flamethrower system (TOS-1A) camouflaged under the treetops. The system is used to destroy light armored vehicles, manpower, and destroy enemy fortifications. The fire from “Solntsepok” is carried out by unguided rockets of caliber 220 mm weighing up to more than 200 kg. The SSO operators determined the coordinates of the heavy flamethrower system and aimed fire at it from the HIMARS missile-artillery unit of the Defense Forces.
