Captured Russian Soldier Reveals Desperation: ‘We Blew Ourselves Up to Avoid Battle’

In a shocking revelation, a captured Russian soldier shared his harrowing experience, shedding light on the dire state of morale within his ranks. Faced with the grim reality of battle, some resorted to extreme measures, including self-detonation with grenades, to avoid combat.

Soldiers of the 24th King Danylo Mechanized Brigade captured a Russian soldier Serhiy, an Udmurt by nationality, who willingly shared how he got into the war in Ukraine and what he did here.

The video about the prisoner was Published on March 5 on the brigade channel.

Serhiy got into the war against Ukraine in mid-2024 and managed to “serve” for seven months.

According to him, he killed a person in a drunken fight, ended up in a pre-trial detention center and signed a contract so as not to go to jail.

The occupier told how the invaders blew themselves up with grenades so as not to storm.

On the second combat mission, he was “beautifully” captured in Chasiv Yar by soldiers of the 24th brigade.

As NEWS HUB reported, the occupiers are killed by clear weather — they do not storm Chasiv Yar when the sky is clear.
