The front-line village of Orihiv, near Zaporizhzhia, is preparing to celebrate the second Christmas and New Year under fire. Today, 1,430 people live in the Orihiv community, and before the full-scale invasion there were more than 19,000. There are 8 Points of Invincibility in the community, people live in four of them. There is no gas or electricity in the city, water is only available from wells powered by generators. Volunteers and rescue workers also bring water. People moved from apartments to basements, where they celebrate the holidays. They never stop thanking the volunteers and everyone who cares for their help and for not forgetting them.
