The Kremlin regime is mobilizing injured Russian soldiers with various wounds directly from hospitals to the front lines due to a catastrophic lack of manpower, Russian Telegram channel SOTA reported.
A video surfaced from the temporarily occupied Georgian region of Abkhazia, where the Russian military unit 09332 is stationed. Thi is a 7th military base. The footage captures soldiers, some on stretchers, being taken out of the hospital and loaded into the cargo compartment of a truck.
“Men did not complete the necessary treatment,” reads the description of the published footage.
“Initially, they were mobilized precisely to this unit in Abkhazia.”
Some of the mobilized individuals were even handcuffed, and one of them attempted to physically resist his escorts.
Individuals with unhealed wounds in Russia are primarily recruited into the Storm Z units, which the Russian Defense Ministry employs for its “cannon fodder” assaults, according to UK intelligence.
Recently, Russian independent media outlet iStories, said that the Russian Ministry of Defense recently changed its rules, enabling it to send soldiers with severe injuries back to fight against Ukraine.
Under the ruling, medical examiners deciding whether to redeploy injured soldiers should consider whether troops have front line experience, and not rule them out on the basis of injuries that “do not have a significant impact on the ability to perform the duties of military service.”
As a consequence, units of hundreds of disabled soldiers have been formed without the soldiers having been properly examined by medics or receiving adequate care, families of the soldiers told the outlet.
