During a multi-stage special operation, the Security Service detained a militant from the “Wagner” group, who was “dropped” by Russian military intelligence (known as the game) into Ukraine to carry out sabotage. He received the task of coming from Belarus to the Rivne region to correct Russian air attacks on the energy infrastructure of our country. The SBU learned about such plans of the aggressor during the stay of the enemy saboteur on the territory of the Republic of Serbia. Since that time, the Ukrainian special service has gradually documented his criminal actions from crossing the state border to arriving at the place of sabotage in Ukraine. As a result, the perpetrator was caught red-handed: he tried to attach several GPS trackers to the poles of power lines supplying the Kyiv agglomeration. According to the “beacon” signals, the occupiers wanted to adjust the targeted strike on energy facilities, including using kamikaze drones of the Shahed type.
