“The Russian Loss of Cotton at the Belbek Airfield”
During yesterday’s missile attack on the Belbek military airfield north of Sevastopol, three planes of the Russian occupiers were damaged – two Su-27s and one Su-30. One of them seems to be completely destroyed, and the other two are seriously damaged.
At the same time, twelve interventionists were allegedly killed, ten more were wounded. The enemy suffered heavy losses due to the fact that not all planes had time to take to the sky after the alarm signal.
At least this information was spread by some Russian Telegram channels. They say that the attack also hit the training camp of the Russian special forces near the village of Gvardiysky, as a result of which nine invaders were eliminated, seven were wounded, and several pieces of equipment were destroyed.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said that its air defenses allegedly intercepted twenty Ukrainian missiles, seventeen of which were on the approaches to Sevastopol.
In turn, the more reliable opposition Telegram channel ASTRA indicates that one of the missiles destroyed the communication point of military unit 80159 at Belbek airfield. The fire covered thirty square meters, there were no casualties.
International OSINT researchers also confirmed that Belbek was flown by a radar station. Other above-mentioned information about the losses of the aggressor needs alternative confirmations.
The Ukrainian side did not indicate anything specific about the results of the attack. Oleschuk, the commander of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, made a solemn statement, seemingly confirming the strike on Belbek. The spokeswoman of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, Nataliya Gumenyuk, says that during the strikes on Russian military facilities in the occupied Crimea on January 31, five rockets were found in the “shelter”, and the enemy himself admitted it. That is, also without specifics.
