Explosions heard in Tula: Updates on Ukraine and Global News
On the evening of Saturday, January 20, a series of powerful explosions thundered near the Russian city of Tula, and a red glow appeared in the sky. This is reported by local media, which also publish photos of eyewitnesses.
It is noted that residents of the surrounding villages also heard the explosion.
“Krivoluchcha. An explosion was also heard. Proletarian district. As soon as the sky was filled with orange-red light (like a flash, only slowly and very bright), and then there was cotton,” – the testimony of local residents is cited.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports on the alleged repulse of the attack.
“The air defense system repelled the UAV attack over the Tula region. “Preliminarily, there are no destructions or victims,” the report says.
But, as seen in the video of eyewitnesses, the explosions happened on the ground, not in the air.
