Fedorov Appointed as Head of Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration
Today, at its meeting, the government dismissed Yury Malashko from the post of the head of Zaporizhzhia OVA, who had worked for a little less than a year.
The Cabinet of Ministers also approved the president’s proposal to appoint Ivan Fedorov to this position. The latter was the mayor of Melitopol, which had been occupied since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
After the occupation, the Russian fascists kidnapped Fedorov, but in a week they managed to exchange him for nine captive occupiers.
Since then, Fedorov has been reporting on the events in the occupied part of the Zaporizhia region on social networks.
