Lithuania Sends RISE-1 System and New Shipment of Ammo to Ukraine

The shipment is a component of a larger three-year military assistance commitment totaling 200 million euros ($219 million).

“Our commitment to support Ukraine is not just solidarity, it’s an investment in Europe’s security,” the Lithuanian Defense Ministry said on X.

Lithuania’s Defense Ministry has announced that the support plan for the period 2024-2026 will be allocated to facilitate new military acquisitions for Ukraine. This includes ammunition, generators, detonation systems, and a total of 577 armored personnel carriers.

Lithuania also intends to train approximately 3,000 Ukrainian soldiers by the end of 2024.
