Unidentified Object Crosses Belarus-Ukraine Border, Flies over Chornobyl
On October 8, an unidentified object was detected flying from Belarus into Ukrainian airspace, according to eRadarrua. The object was first observed around 08:54, moving from the direction of the Polesie Reserve in Belarus towards the area of Pripyat. By 09:00, it had crossed the Belarus-Ukraine border.
Preliminary information suggests that the object may have been a reconnaissance UAV, potentially gathering intelligence. After crossing into Ukraine, the object proceeded southeast, flying over significant areas including Chornobyl, Oster, and Kalyta. It continued its course toward Yahotyn and eventually entered Cherkasy region.
The exact nature and purpose of the UAV remain unclear, though the incident raises concerns about heightened surveillance activity in the region.
