Fireplace Engulfs Patrol Boat in the Sea of Azov and Yermak Icebreaker in the Port of St. Petersburg, Ensuing in Losses

On February 29, a fire broke out on a vessel belonging to russia’s Coast Guard of the Border Service of the Federal Security Services (FSB) in the Sea of Azov.

That is in accordance to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.

The fireplace eaten the engine home of the vessel, prompting the crew to urgently ask for an evacuation workforce, as evidenced by intercepted conversations among the occupants.

The enemy endured losses totaling 5 occupants.

“The leads to of the fire on the vessel of the aggressor state russia, as very well as the character of the enemy’s losses, are being clarified,” emphasizes the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.

This marks the second incident of fire on a russian vessel, with the Yermak icebreaker remaining ablaze in the port of St. Petersburg on February 29.

According to the video produced by the russian Ministry of Emergency Conditions, the fireplace started on the initial and second decks.

There was no data about casualties in the incident.

Remember that Ukrainian defenders have efficiently qualified a lot of russian ships in the Black Sea employing assault drones. The most latest operation took position on February 14th, ensuing in the enemy’s Caesar Kunikov large landing ship, sinking.
