russia Escalates Deployments of Armored Groups in Assaults on Avdiivka
The Commander of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Group of Troops, General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi wrote on his official Telegram channel.
“Ukrainian soldiers unwaveringly maintain their defense. They actively neutralize the russian aggressor,” as announced by the Commander of the OSGT Tavria.

He stated, “We see the opponent’s goal – to capture Avdiivka, Novomykhailivka, and the territories they lost last summer, at any cost and as quickly as possible.”
According to General Tarnavskyi, the enemy lost 458 troops, 25 units of various military equipment over the past day.
The russian military delivered 25 airstrikes and 2 missile strikes, conducted 57 assault actions, as well as carried out 663 artillery bombardments.
At the same time, Ukrainian forces destroyed 9 russian tanks, 11 armored vehicles, 2 artillery systems, 2 vehicles, and 139 drones over the past day. Another russian critical facility was destroyed. Additionally, one ammunition depot exploded.
