Russian troops have moved to new positions near Avdiivka

In the Avdiyivka direction, during the first eighteen hours of the current day, Defense Forces fighters repelled 22 attacks by the Russian invaders in the areas of Avdiyivka and more northern Novokalynovoy and Novobakhmutivka.

Another 14 assaults were parried by our defenders near Pervomaiskyi and Nevelskyi to the south. Assault actions of the invaders were supported by aviation, but were unsuccessful.

This was reported by the press center of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an evening summary published on the official page on the Facebook social network, among other things.

Stanislav Bunyatov (Osman), a blogger and fighter of the 24th separate assault battalion “Aidar” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, actually does not quite agree with him, who said the following in his Telegram channel “Govoryat Sniper”:

“The orcs have a little success in the south of Avdiivka, have advanced through the private sector and are taking local “Zhduns” for evacuation.”

It will be recalled that the invaders broke into the southern part of Avdiivka after capturing its industrial zone at the end of 2023.
