Witnesses report that russia has increased the number of barges used to protect the Kerch Bridge from Ukrainian naval drones.

Earlier, Brady Africk, an analyst in the Foreign and Defense Policy Research Department at the American Enterprise Institute, reported based on satellite images that russian authorities are continuing to increase the number of barges near the Kerch Bridge for its protection.

russia began constructing surface protection for the Kerch Bridge on May 7 and continues to do so today.

At the end of June, it was reported that the russians had set up a second line of barriers near the Kerch Bridge using 21 barges. Additionally, piers seem to be under construction near the bridge’s foundation.
