On the night of February 15, russian occupation forces carried out another terrorist attack on Ukraine using long-range missiles of various types. The Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine disclosed details of the attack, including the downed targets.

It is known that occupiers launched 12 Kh-101, Kh-555, Kh-55 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers that were taking off from the Engels-2 air base. Ukrainian Air Defense Forces destroyed 8 of these missiles. Invaders also launched two Kalibr cruise missiles from Novorossiysk aria in the russian federation. Both targets were destroyed.

russians also used four Kh-59 cruise missiles. They were launched from the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia Oblast as well as Kursk Oblast. Two of them were shot down.

There is a possibility that North Korean missiles were also involved in the attack. russian terrorists also used six Iskander-M or KN-23 ballistic missiles from Voronezh Oblast. One of them was eliminated. Two missiles were also launched from the S-300 SAM system from Belgorod Oblast. Thus, russians launched 26 missiles against Ukraine in total of which half of them (13) were destroyed.

It turns out to be the fifth massive missile attack against Ukraine in 2024. The previous one took place on the night of February 7, when russian invaders launched 64 drones and missiles of various types at once.

Earlier War Ukraine-Russia News Hub reported that russians had used Zircon missile to strike on Kyiv, but their “Wunderwaffe” was shot down.
