russians Use Occupied Port in Mariupol to Transport Military Cargo

The city council of the temporarily occupied Mariupol reported this on Telegram and published a photo of the port.

“There has been activity in the port of Mariupol. The occupiers are increasing the use of the port to boost the number of shipments, including goods necessary for the front,” the statement reads.

According to preliminary information, on October 11, russian invaders re-moored a bulk carrier closer to a port crane to enable direct loading from railcars. Earlier, it was loaded with metal cargo for two days in a row. The bulk carrier is due to leave the port’s waters soon.

The city council reminded that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, russians have been actively using the seaport in Mariupol to export loot and meet the military needs of their army.

“This week, they launched a cargo sorting and transshipment station and restored large railway scales. This will allow them to increase the pace and transfer additional resources through the seaport,” the city council stated.

Earlier War Ukraine-Russia News Hub reported that russia had intended to illegally set up Shahed drone production in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
