Satellite Images Reveal the Destroyed russian Depot at Cape Fiolent in Temporarily Occupied Crimea
On July 1, explosions rocked Sevastopol. Locals reported impacts in the Balaklava district, where russian air defense systems are stationed. Moreover, a military unit near the village of Flotske was targeted in a strike.
Later, Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykola Oleshchuk, confirmed that Ukrainian pilots conducted a strike in temporarily occupied Crimea.
Satellite images were published on the Telegram channel Krym.Realii.
“Here is the destroyed russian military facility by the Ukrainian strike on July 1 at Cape Fiolent in annexed Crimea, as shown in satellite images,” the message reads.
In the footage, four buildings can be observed at the cape prior to the explosions. Subsequent photos reveal that one of these buildings was completely destroyed in the incident.
According to one account, the building housed an ammunition depot, while another version suggests it contained Shahed/Geran drones.
