The wave of protests continues in Russia, this time riots broke out in Yakutia, where a local young man was killed by a native of Tajikistan. Hundreds of people took to the streets, but Russian media say the police are managing to keep people at bay.
After information about the murder, local publics and channels exploded with outrage and calls to take to the streets. Due to this, there are currently interruptions in the work of Telegram and WhatsApp messengers in the region.
According to the same channels, cases of pogroms of local shops owned by migrants have been recorded. Several people were detained by security forces.
It is an interesting fact that the Tajik, who committed the murder, received Russian citizenship a few years ago.
