Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully defended against invaders near Pervomaiskyi
In the area of the unconquered villages of Pervomaiske and Nevelske west of Donetsk, the Defense Forces fighters repelled seventeen attacks by the Russian occupiers.

In turn, the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) in today’s report on the situation on the fronts with reference to geo-located combat images released on January 17th reported:
“Russian troops attacked and captured a position east of Nevelskyi (southwest of Avdiivka).”
