Fighters of the 93rd OMBr “Kholodny Yar” shot down the enemy drone “Lancet” with the help of a Swedish MANPADS RBS-70.
RBS-70 is a portable anti-aircraft missile complex, the first prototype of which was developed in Sweden back in the 70s.
This is a short-range MANPADS. It has a laser missile control feature. Its beam creates a “corridor” along which the ammunition flies. The capabilities of this complex allow you to hit targets at distances of 5-8 km and at an altitude of 3-5 km.
The complex together with the tripod and rocket weighs 87 kg. It is used installed on the ground or on a vehicle.
