The Armed Forces halted the occupiers’ advance near Bakhmut
On January 14, heavy positional battles continued in the Bakhmut direction, but no confirmed changes in the contact line were recorded here. Although the Russian occupiers increased the number of manpower on this part of the front to eighty thousand people.
Experts from the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) stated this in today’s report on the bloody Russian-Ukrainian confrontation.
In turn, the press center of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the following about this section of the front in the summary for the past day, posted on the official page on the social network “Facebook”:
“In the direction of Bakhmut, our soldiers repelled five attacks by the occupiers near Klishchiivka and Andriivka (villages liberated last fall) of the Donetsk region.”
We will remind, for the last two places, the invaders made significant progress, especially north of Bakhmut.
