A group of Russian servicemen in the Zaporozhye region planned to storm the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine with infantry forces at night. But the Ukrainian National Guard foiled the assault.
The aerial reconnaissance of the 3rd brigade of operational assignment “Spartan” of NSU detected a group of the enemy at night. The occupiers were destroyed from a distance and were not allowed to approach the Ukrainian positions, saving the lives of our defenders.
At first, the cluster of Russian troops was struck with precise strikes with cluster munitions. Having defeated the enemy, the Ukrainian military foiled the assault, but did not stop there.
“The remnants of Russian manpower were neutralized by drops from drones. Having suffered huge losses, the enemy retreated,” the National Guardsmen of the “Spartan” brigade reported on their Telegram channel.
