Occupiers Establish Presence in Southern Avdiyivka
The Russian occupiers advanced in the southern part of the unconquered city of Avdiyivka along Soborna, Sportivna and Chernyshevsky streets, as well as in the forest strip west of the “Tsarska Okhota” complex.
Thus, the enemy captured an area up to 530 meters wide at a depth of up to 440 m. This was reported by the “Donbas Operative” Telegram channel, publishing a map on which the corresponding territory is colored red.
In turn, the authoritative domestic compiler of frontline maps and military expert “DeepState” recorded similar changes on its map for January 24, see its screenshot.
It is worth noting that even yesterday “DeepState” marked this territory as a gray zone. That is, in fact, the invaders gained a foothold on the site that they captured a few days ago.
By the way, the intervenors, with the provision of relevant videos, confirmed that they managed to do this thanks to the passage of their large assault squad through an underground two-kilometer tunnel into our rear.
This success of the enemy does not threaten the encirclement of the entire Avdiivka garrison.
