The number of tanks in possession of the occupiers has tripled
The Russian occupiers “build” improvised booths for large-caliber machine guns on light armored multi-purpose tractors, on which they go to storm the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was reported by the Telegram channel “russia no context”, which traditionally operates with videos and photos taken by the interveners themselves.
This time he published a photo showing one BTLB with a booth and two more with unprotected anti-aircraft guns (a formidable weapon, but not during an attack in the cold) with a comment:
“The photo before the assault… All this because of the lack of normal armored vehicles.”
In turn, the publication “Forbes” believes that currently the Russian Federation has “only” 1,180 tanks – this is together with those manufactured and repaired, starting from February 2022.
Whereas at the time of the large-scale invasion, the enemy had 2,987 tanks. 1735 of them were destroyed, 205 were abandoned, 544 were captured by our defenders.
At the same time, it must be admitted that it is not yet apparent that the invaders have curtailed offensive actions due to a lack of armored vehicles – the Russian Federation has very large reserves of previously decommissioned ATLBs (in fact, these are also BMPs, but without turrets with automatic guns).
