The Outcome of Shahed’s Night Assault on Ukraine
Last night, the Russian occupiers launched eight kamikaze drones of the Iranian “Shahed-131/136” type over Ukraine from the area of the city of Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation (the eastern shore of the Sea of Azov).
All of them were destroyed by anti-aircraft missile units and mobile fire groups within Mykolaiv, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions.
This was reported by the press service of the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning briefing on the official page on the Facebook social network.
The defense forces of southern Ukraine clarified that the attack lasted almost three hours. Two barrage munitions were shot down in Kherson region and Mykolaiv region, one in Kiroiograd region. “There were no hits, destruction or casualties among the civilian population.”
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, said that three Shaheds were shot down in the Dnipro district. Debris fell on the territory of the enterprise, damaging the building and causing a fire, which the rescuers have already extinguished. People were not injured.
