Russian Federation Attacks Kryvyi Rih’s Energy Infrastructure
Last night, the Russian occupiers launched 24 kamikaze drones of the Iranian “Shahed-136/131” type over Ukraine from the eastern shore of the Sea of Azov (Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation) and Cape Chauda in the southeast of the occupied Crimea.
Eleven of them (46%) were shot down by our air defense within Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Kirovohrad and Kharkiv regions. Seven more barrage munitions (29%) “did not reach their targets and were lost in location.”
This was reported by the press service of the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning briefing on the official page on the Facebook social network.
According to the reports of NEC “Ukrenergo” and the local authorities in Kryvyi Rih, one of the substations was damaged, as a result of which household and industrial consumers (more than forty thousand subscribers) were cut off, and there were interruptions in water supply.
In addition, due to the blackout of two mines, more than a hundred workers remained underground. According to Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, as of 7:30 a.m., some of them had already been brought to the surface.
