At night and in the morning, the Russians launched a combined missile attack on the territory of Ukraine. The enemies used more than 40 cruise, ballistic, aviation and anti-aircraft guided missiles. Ukrainian military shot down 21.
Most of the missiles attacked on a ballistic trajectory, and Ukrainian air defense forces have limited opportunities to shoot them down. This was reported by the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In general, the Russians used:
– four S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Belgorod region – in the direction of the Kharkiv region
– 15 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles from six Tu-95MS strategic bombers (launch area – Engels, Russian Federation)
– eight Kh-22 missiles from Tu-22M3 bombers from the Bryansk and Oryol regions. – in the direction of Kharkiv Oblast and Sumy Oblast
– 12 Iskander-M ballistic missiles (launch area – Belgorod and Voronezh regions)
– two Kh-59 guided air missiles from two Su-34 aircraft (launch area – Belgorod Region, Russian Federation).
As a result of combat work by the forces and means of the Air Force, in cooperation with the Air Defense Forces of the Defense Forces, the following were destroyed:
– 15 cruise missiles Kh-101/kh-555/kh-55
– five ballistic “Iskander-M”
– guided air missile Kh-59
“It is important that not all enemy missiles that attacked on a ballistic trajectory reached their targets!” – added the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
We will remind, during the morning missile attack in Ukraine, five people died and at least 40 were injured. This was reported to the Ministry of Internal Affairs an hour after the air threat was repelled.
A gas pipeline caught fire in the Kharkiv region as a result of today’s Russian missile attack.
Soldiers of the Armed Forces destroyed one Russian missile from a Browning machine gun. A video of the destruction was published online.
