Defenders of Ukraine Destroy russian Base Full of Tanks, Using FPV-Drones

Thanks to the rapid development of FPV-drones, a new success has been achieved on the battlefield in Ukraine. In particular, the destruction of russian base with armored vehicles, including Terminator armored fighting vehicle, BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle, two T-72 main battle tanks, two AZP S-60 anti-aircraft gun placed on ZIL-130 trucks as well as trucks with ammunition. This was reported by one of Ukrainian Telegram channels as well as attached corresponding video.

All this equipment was destroyed by FPV-drones of the Bulava unit of the Separate Presidential Brigade named after Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky. The location had already been identified by OSINT analysts. This is the southern outskirts of Staromlynivka in Donetsk Oblast, which is 5,5 kilometers from the front line.

The video shows more than skillful use of drones by the Defenders of Ukraine. It was necessary not just to hit the hangar, but to fly into it, select the desired target, and direct the drone to it. This requires a really talented operator, who had to fly indoors at the maximum flight range. This is evidenced by the inscription about low battery power.

Consistent methodical strikes eventually disabled all the equipment that russians were trying to hide in this hangar. This case ended with an explosion of ammunition.

So, there is a conclusion about exceptional skill of the drone operators, as well as coordinated work of Ukrainian intelligence, which revealed the accumulation of occupiers` armored vehicles.

At the same time, according to NATO approach, such a group of targets should actually be object to be destroyed by brigade artillery or tactical aviation. For instance, the United States could used a Tomahawk cruise missile for this purpose. But thanks to FPV-drones, such missions can now be fully fulfilled by infantry units of tactical level.

Earlier War Ukraine-Russia News Hub reported that Ukrainian armor company had increased supply of 122-mm shells to Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
