The details about the destruction of ussian BUK-M1 SAM process was revealed by the push services of Unique Operations Forces of Ukraine on its Telegram channel. During reconnaissance in the disputed area, fighters of the 3rd Individual Exclusive Forces Regiment found out russian BUK-M1 method. The system was found just as it was preparing to start missiles.
“Our operators immediately transmitted the coordinates of the enemy goal to the missile artillery models of the Protection Forces. The BUK-M1 program was not ready to start a single missile – it was instantly eradicated,” the Exclusive Forces emphasized.
The Buk is a loved ones of self-propelled, medium-selection area-to-air missile methods designed by the Soviet Union and later on the Russian Federation, and built to counter cruise missiles, smart bombs, fixed- and rotary-wing plane, and unmanned aerial motor vehicles.
The 9K37M1 Buk-M1 was adopted into assistance in 1983. The modernisation improved the overall performance of the technique radars, its “chance of get rid of” and its resistance to electronic countermeasures. In addition a non-cooperative threat classification system was mounted, relying on evaluation of returned radar indicators to purportedly determine and clearly distinguish civilian plane from probable military targets in the absence of IFF.
