Ukrainian drones are destroying Russian tanks in large numbers with their first strike
Racist propagandists should have boasted of “standard means of protection” against FPV-kamikaze drones for their T-80BVM tanks, as fighters of the Special Operations Center “A” of the Security Service of Ukraine destroyed just such an enemy tank with just such a barrage of ammunition.
Blogger and front-line volunteer Serhiy Sternenko announced this on his Telegram channel, publishing a video shot both by the kamikaze himself and by a control unmanned aerial vehicle.
One hit was enough for the tank to immediately detonate its own shells – the tower was immediately torn off with a super-powerful explosion, the crew had no chance of survival.
Interestingly, this is the third such video in the last two days. And in all of them, moving tanks hit kamikaze in the “back of the head” – in the rear part of the tower. Probably, this is the most vulnerable place of tanks. After all, it is usually quite difficult to destroy them with barrage ammunition.
Perhaps there is another secret. “Army of drones” said that in Ukraine they developed an armor-piercing ammunition for FPV-kamikaze. It has a “shock core”, a powerful anti-armor effect and a long range of remote damage.
Sternenko, who has already deployed more than 30,000 kamikaze FPV drones to the front, also spoke about the fact that the Armed Forces use more powerful projectiles. Moreover, they have been doing it for a long time. They did not tell, so as not to stimulate the Russians to copy our actions. Now the enemy also began to use larger shells.
