On the night of September 1, two power plants in Moscow and Tver Oblasts, as well as Moscow oil refinery, were attacked during a massive drone attack on russian regions.
This was reported by RIA-Novosti russian propaganda media, citing local authorities in the town of Kashira, russian Telegram channels, and Sergey Sobyanin Mayor of Moscow.
It is noted that at night there was an attempt to attack the territory of Kashira Power Plant by 3 drones.
Traditionally, russian authorities say that “there are no casualties and destruction, no fire occurred.” At the same time, russian Telegram channels publish photos and videos of local residents, which show the attack and its consequences at the territory of the Power Plant.
It is known that Kashira Power Plant is located on the bank of the Oka river in the town of Kashira, Moscow Oblast.
russian Telegram channels reported that fires broke out in the Tver region after UAVs attack. Power Plant and the gas distribution network located several kilometers away from it were attacked. This is evidenced by videos of local residents.
Thus, after the UAV attack in Konakovo, Tver Oblast, a fire broke out near the local Power Plant and near the Konakovo gas distribution network, which is a technological part of the KGMO-Konakovo gas trunkline.
The Moscow mayor said that UAVs attempted to attack Moscow oil refinery. “A drone was shot down near the oil refinery. No damage or casualties, no threat to the work of the oil refinery,” Sobyanin stated.
Earlier War Ukraine-Russia News Hub reported that Ukrainian Air Force had downed russian Orion drone in Kursk sector.
