Ukrainian Drones Strike russian Kremny El Electronics Plant in Bryansk Again
A number of russian propaganda channels published information that on the night of October 19, strike drones attacked the Kremny El plant in Bryansk Oblast. According to the governor, Alexander Bogomaz, “as a result of the detonation of the explosive device of the downed drone, a fire broke out in the attic of a non-residential building.”
At the same time, according to the report of the Ministry of Defense of the russian federation, air defense forces shot down 16 drones at night, 13 of them over the territory of the Bryansk region. The published videos show a drone hitting one of the objects and an explosion. However, as of now, it is difficult to assess the results of this attack.
It should be noted that the Kremny El plant, which was attacked at night, is located only 110 km from the border with Ukraine and is very important for russia. It is the second largest electronics manufacturer, and most of its products are used in defense production.
This is at least the fourth attack on this plant. For the first time, Ukrainian drones attacked Kremny El in August 2023, and then in September. The plant was also attacked in June 2024.
