Ukrainian Partisans Prepare Further Destruction of russia’s Military Airfields in Temporarily Occupied Crimea

An agent of the partisan movement discovered the 59N6-E (alternative designation: Protivnik-GE) radar station during scouting the area of airfield. The Atesh reported about in on its Telegram channel. It is located to the southwest of the Dzhankoi airfield. This radar detects aerial targets as well as transmits information to the air defense that covers the airfield.

The Atesh noted that the installation of air defense systems earlier had not saved occupiers from attacks on mentioned facility.

It is known that the 59N6-E radar station is designed to detect and provide coordinates of air targets when operating as part of an automated air defense control system as well as air traffic control systems.

The movement provided the coordinates of the facility: 45.6934554, 34.3966575.

“In addition, we found a repair base near the radar station as well as a place where military equipment is placed in Novostepne,” the statement reads.

The Atesh also reported about conducted reconnaissance of a depot with ammunition as well as fuel and lubricant which supports military airfield in Novofedorivka.

The coordinates were provided: 45.097788, 33.576868 45.085652, 33.577283

“The area is well guarded, with many security cameras around the perimeter. But that doesn’t stop our agents,” the statement reads.

The movement also added that a lot of interesting information was passed to the Defense Forces of Ukraine and the results are expected.

Earlier War Ukraine-Russia News Hub reported that Ukrainian partisans had said russians that prefer to disperse ammunition depots in occupied Crimea.
