Polish farmers in Warsaw initiate general strike outside government building – VIDEO 7 12118
As War Ukraine-Russia News Hub reports with reference to Radio Liberty, the organizers announced the participation of more than 100 thousand people from all over Poland. Farmers gathered at the government building and will walk to the Seimas. The demands of farmers are unchanged – they oppose the European Green Deal. They also demand to stop importing agricultural products from countries outside the EU, primarily from Ukraine.
Security measures have been tightened in Warsaw. Police with dogs search public transport stops, sewer grates and garbage cans.
