Ukraine has so-far held off all Russian attacks on the forest, including blowing up six Grad multi-rocket launchers using drones and HIMARS. The rocket launchers support Russia’s infantry and tank attacks by breaking up Ukrainian lines, so destroying them is key to the defence. Ukraine also managed to destroy a Tor anti-air system in the same area. Incredibly, a drone hit the system even though it was active at the time. The Tor locked on to the drone and fired a rocket at it, but the missile exploded prematurely, allowing the drone to destroy the launcher. Taking out anti-air systems are also key to Ukraine’s defence, because they block drones from getting through to blow up troops and tanks. #russia #Ukraine #Serebryansky
