The number of attacks on military commissars and similar institutions in Russia has increased. This may indicate distrust of the dictator’s promise not to conduct a new wave of mobilization. This is reported by the intelligence of Great Britain in a new review.
The agency cites data recently released by the Russian authorities about 220 attacks on mobilization institutions. This is the number of events during the large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. At the same time, statistics published by “Mediazon” indicate 113 attacks since July 26, 2023 alone.
“Taken together, these figures indicate that the number of arsons to military commissariats has doubled in the last 6 months.” – reports British intelligence.
The Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation stated that the perpetrators of the attacks acted on behalf of Western officials.
“However, an increase in the number of attacks is very likely due to a growing sense of dissatisfaction with the war among the Russian population. In particular, those who can be mobilized will just announce the second wave of mobilization”says the review.
British observers also noted that some of those involved in these attacks were accused of terrorism and treason.
“The new mobilization will contradict Putin’s promise of December 14, 2023, that there will be no new wave – attacks with a high probability indicate a lack of trust in these promises,” the report says.
It will be recalled that an engineer of the Almaz-Antey defense plant shot himself in Russia. He worked on the production of rockets that killed his grandmother in Kharkiv.
