“Putin – Nuland: Unexpected Events Await on the Battlefield”
US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland is sure that the year 2024 is of strategic importance for Ukraine and will bring her “confident success” on the battlefield. She said this in Kyiv on January 31 during a meeting with journalists.
Nuland said she was leaving Kyiv with greater confidence that — even as Ukraine strengthens its defenses — Mr. Putin will get “pleasant surprises” on the battlefield and that Ukraine will make solid gains this year.
By “pleasant” she meant pleasant for Ukraine and its allies.
In addition, Nuland believes that the US Congress will vote for additional aid to Ukraine, and added that GLSDB long-range missiles are already on their way to the Armed Forces.
GLSDB can hit targets at a distance of up to one and a half hundred kilometers (according to other data, up to 145). It uses a global GPS system and an inertial navigation system for guidance.
And most importantly, the GLSDB can be launched from multiple rocket launchers “HIMARS” and “MLRS-M270”, which with GMRLS projectiles reaching 80 km have become a bone in the throats of many thousands of invaders.
Last September, Victoria Nuland called on Ukraine’s allies to prepare for a prolonged confrontation with Russia. According to her, there is a long way ahead, for which one must be ready both materially and psychologically. She also called on the partners to intensify arms supplies to Ukraine, as well as efforts to restore the Ukrainian economy even before the end of the war, in particular by ensuring the relocation and start-up of businesses in relatively safe territories.
