German drone manufacturer Quantum-Systems has begun a planned delivery of 100 Trinity drones of various models. The supply was announced last September, deaidua.org reports.

The company, which has already supplied defense equipment to Ukraine, is actually donating these drones. Quantum-Systems also supplies Ukraine with hundreds of Vector UAVs on behalf of the German government.

Training Ukrainian soldiers to work on these cartographic UAVs began in January. The publication writes that Ukrainian operators have already completed the training of Trinity instructors in Ukraine. The first delivery will take place this month.

UAVs can be used to accurately capture damage to infrastructure, buildings, roads or bridges after Russian attacks. But there is a possibility that Trinity will conduct reconnaissance over the battlefield.

Trinity Tactical is among 100 drones of various modifications. It can be used, for example, for real-time reconnaissance by special forces operating in enemy territory or in isolated areas.

Thanks to its modular system, the Trinity is airborne in minutes and performs automated tactical mapping and terrain visualization. In just one flight, one drone can cover an area of 700 hectares or a linear corridor 90 kilometers long.

Previously, “Ukraine-Russia News Hub” wrote that Lithuania is ready for joint production of drones with Ukraine.
