Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, has announced that Ukraine is actively searching for russian air defense systems in the temporarily occupied territories. These systems play a crucial role in protecting russian military headquarters, equipment concentrations and columns. They are also used to shoot down reconnaissance drones, helicopters and aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The air defense systems of interest are typically large structures featuring missiles, towers and locators. The specific systems Ukraine is seeking information on include Osa, Pantsir, Tor, Buk and Strela.
To enhance the effectiveness of targeting and destroying the occupiers’ command posts and equipment, Ukrainian authorities are calling on citizens for help.
